Minty Fresh

As spring starts to slowly emerge here in NYC, I am craving brighter and lighter colors. One shade that’s popping up everywhere is mint green. Typically, I’m more drawn to pinks and blues in spring weather, but this lovely color is such a nice change of pace. I’m also loving it in interiors and especially exteriors like doors. Time for inspiration and how to get the look…

You will NEVER guess where my heels are from

New shoe/bootie alert and they’re leopard.  My word are they sexy and comfortable. Really.  You will never guess in a million years where these are from…….

TALBOTS! Seriously!  A store for “other people’s moms” as I lovingly called it growing up. My mom doesn’t shop there, I would NEVER dream of walking into it and yet there these were on a blog I was reading. On sale to boot. I love shopping surprises 🙂

Outfit Envy

Our agency is located on the same floor as a photo studio, which means trendified/ cool sytlists in the elevators and models in the bathrooms.  Some, not all, cause me great outfit envy. I wonder why? I took all of 10 minutes to care about what to wear today. Alas, today was a day when I was left with major outfit envy.

So in a make believe land, here’s what I wish I wore today:

Sachin and Babi draped leather jacket

Equipment’s Starry Night blouse

3.1 Philllip Lim’s Draped Trousers

Alexander Wang’s pumps

And my dream bag…. a PS11

dreamy.
